Mark Fleahman - Chief Information Officer

Mark Fleahman is a senior IT executive with over two decades of leadership and strategic planning experience, providing technology solutions for small and medium size organizations to Fortune 100 companies in both the public and private sectors. 

His experience encompasses areas such as labor (Public Employees Federation), education (U-Albany and Skidmore), healthcare (NYS Dept of Health, CDPHP and Optum), law (NYS Attorney General and NYS Unified Court System), and commerce (Software Consulting Associates).  In a past role, he served as the CIO for the NYS Attorney General’s Office.

He has overseen IT Teams ranging from 15 to 110 staff, including on-shore/off-shore consultants, in often very regulated and complex environments.  He has managed every aspect of IT services from network and data center infrastructure, applications development, user support services, security, and business continuity for numerous and geographically dispersed workforces ranging from 200 to 18,000.  

Mr. Fleahman has been a “change-agent” during the constantly evolving landscape of technology and has overseen and managed many projects from the departmental level to enterprise-wide with budgets ranging from under $100K to over $70M.  He has also had to contend with providing continuity of service during the occasional crisis such as Superstorm Sandy, cyber-attacks, and the more recent COVID-19 outbreak.  He has a track record of restoring focus to IT departments and promoting collaborative relationships among stakeholders and IT in order to provide the foundations to assist organizations in achieving their aspirational goals.

Mark holds a B.S in Computer Science and Mathematics and an M.S. in Information Technology Management from the University at Albany and the University of Phoenix, respectively.
