Marc Fortin - Senior Safety, Security and Risk Manager

Marc Fortin joined NYSBA in 2024 as the Senior Safety, Security and Risk Manager. In his position he plays a critical role in overseeing the safety and security of personnel, facilities, and assets for the agency.

Marc started his security career by joining the United States Marines in 2001-2007, then went on to join the United States Army 2009-2012, followed by 6 years as a Department of Defense high threat security contractor for wartime operations. Most recently, Marc was the Security Training and Crisis Response Manager for Terminal 4 at JFK airport. He looks forward to using his experience as a safety & security professional to help protect the people and infrastructure of New York State and NYSBA.
