Aurelio Gooden - Director of Human Resources

Aurelio Gooden join NYSBA with over 25 years of Human Resources experience handling all aspects of human resources focusing on talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, benefits, records management, employee relations and retention, EEO compliance, and labor relations.

Recently he served as Director of Human Resources with Vocational Instruction Project (VIP) Community Services, Inc., and The Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc., - both FQHC organizations.  He also worked as Deputy Director for Human Resources Administration with The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and with Steinway Child and Family Services, Inc. 

Aurelio holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Mount Saint Mary College. He plans to resume his studies for a Master of Science in Counseling Degree later this year at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY.

Aurelio is married and resides in Orange County with his family.  He enjoys cross-country driving and dining out when possible and listening to salsa music.  He is involved in his local community and church.
